תרא
תְּרֵי, תְּרָאII = h. שָׁרָה I, to dissolve, soak. Naz.37a אי תְרוּ ליהוכ׳ if they steep it (meat) in milk for an entire day Gitt.27a בדוכתא היכא דתרו כיתנא in the place where they steep flax. Ib. 69b ונִיתְרֵיה במיא (not וניתייריה) and let him soak it in water. Ab. Zar.38b; a. fr. Ithpe. אִיתְּרֵי, אִיתְ׳ to be soaked. Targ. Y. Num. 6:3.
